At Funlife Fitness Centre we can offer Exercise Physiology services through a series of varying options
including Medicare, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, WorkCover/ Return To WorkSA and also Private Health.
Any client on a Chronic Disease Management plan is eligible for up to 5 Medicare Bulk Billed visits per calendar year with our AEP.
Our AEP will work with the client to develop the best plan for the client, whether this is a gym or home based exercise program.
Type 2 Diabetes clients are also eligible for group allied health services at our centre, where they can learn safe exercises to assist with Diabetes management. They are eligible for 8 Medicare Bulk Billed group sessions per calendar year.
We can offer Exercise Physiology services to clients through Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Our AEP has dealt with clients of varying age conditions due to service, including post traumatic stress, chronic pain and so on. Clients will be assessed and treated for the referring condition by the General Practitioner.
Motor vehicle crash claims and worker’s compensation claims are accepted at Funlife Fitness Centre upon referral by the treating General Practitioner.
For clients that may benefit from Exercise Physiology services, they may be eligible for rebates with their Private Health Fund. We provide invoices to these clients to allow them to obtain their rebates. Our private costs include:
One hour assessment – $70
30 minute review – $35
Group exercise (hydrotherapy or land based) – $7
