Older adult fitness at Funlife
Here at Funlife Fitness Centre we promote health and well-being amongst people over 50 through strength training and aquatic programs run by our accredited trainers.
Strength for life classes run 3 times a week – Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12pm.
Research has shown that strength training can alleviate the effects of chronic conditions such as Arthritis, Type 2 Diabetes, Osteoporosis and Heart Disease, as well as benefit one’s total health and well being.
Our Aquacise classes are suitable for all ages, Aquacise involves a variety of both aerobic and toning exercises performed in our hydrotherapy pool.
Aquacise Classes are held:
Monday-9.15am and 9.45am,
Tuesday- 9.15am (45 min class) and 5.30pm and 6pm
Wednesday- 9.15am, 9.45am, Thursday- 6pm , Friday- 9.15am, 9.45am
Aquacise has been found to help alleviate arthritis, encourage rehabilitation, reduce impact on joints, improve balance and posture but most of all be a great cardiovascular workout.
